Hello there – my name is Zara Picken and I’m an illustrator currently living and working in Bristol, England.
I create illustrations for editorial, publishing, advertising and more. My work is ideas-led, approaching subjects with an open mind and focusing on conveying concepts with a striking aesthetic.
I find inspiration in vast collections, cities, literature, obscure music, theories and wordplay. In my spare time I enjoy being a technology geek, playing bad cover versions on a range of musical instruments and improving my coffee-making skills.
