The National Science Foundation gave out a grant to the Girl Scouts of America in order to encourage young, multicultural women to choose careers in engineering. By a stroke of luck, our good friend Chrissie Brodigan of Think Vitamin fame hooked us up with the task of developing the website. Victoria and Elaine very excitedly took the job, stoked to work in the recently redesigned Girl Scouts brand guidelines, and came up with the following solutions:
Unfortunately, there were a lot of changes in terms of personnel on the client side, so after a lot of back and forth, we never launched the website as a separate entity the way it had been envisioned. Eventually the in-house team at the Girl Scouts re-appropriated our Concept 2 into the existing Girl Scouts website here.
Still, we were really excited to work with Chrissie and to work toward getting more young women excited about science and technology related fields. Go Team!
