Fast from the hog y’all, and grow up!

is part of the chorus in Ghostface Killah’s One on the album Supreme Clientele.

It’s rare for your creative director to send you on your way with a quote from a rap song in place of a creative brief.

“Go do what you do,” I was told. So, I took to a giant canvas. Fasting from swine in my world means doing the best I can to shift advertising away from manipulating and using women like a slab of meat. Making a giant ham out of lady parts seemed like a natural connection. Being that the song came off an album called “Supreme Clientele” was even more appropriate. It’s nice to have clients and to do good work, but its a lot more satisfying to know that your work “answers to a higher authority”. Yes, I just quoted the tagline of a hot dog brand.

Who’s hungry?
