I’m a midwestern girl with a love for nostalgia, stylish women, candy, and all things nautical. I do mixed media illustration and love to use cut paper, ink, stamps, glitter, and anything to give a handmade touch to my work.
Words of advice
Create a network—branch out and connect with others. Give advice, and you’ll get it too. Entertain all opportunities as well—never turn down the chance to visit a studio or meet people in your field. Usually golden opportunities pop up when you least expect. And most importantly, always be having FUN with your work! It should feel like play. I don't know why she's so sad looking...maybe her antlers are heavy.
I don't work digitally very often but I'm starting to get into it. Kinda did this piece for fun and ended up liking the colors a lot
