In her own words
Trained as a graphic designer, I am currently living in New Orleans and teaching graphic design at Loyola University. My work focuses on the relationship between text and interpretation of messages.
The messages I experiment with are from my observations in everyday life as well as appropriating image + text from the Victorian era through the 1950′s. I like to use typography as a way to visually enhance and communicate alternate meanings.
