In her own words
HI! I’m Katherine Major and I’m a curiously whimsical graphic designer. Why curiously whimsical? I believe design should incorporate clever concepts and a sense of fun. My love for art started when I was a kid and would skip recess to work on my art projects. I went to the College for Creative Studies to further develop my skills beyond finger-painting. After graduation I took a breif break to do some humanitarian work. I returned with a fresh perspective on life and started my career in Cleveland Ohio. I serve as membership director of AIGA Cleveland and am freelance designing.
Words of advice
Never underestimate how you can help change the world. As Ghandi once said “Be the change you want to see in the world”. I take that very seriously in my own life and career. I am a strong advocate for helping others and working with non profit organizations. We as creatives can really help to make a positive different in people’s lives! Keep inspiring.

My senior thesis on IKEA used materials inspired by the company. Creating something simply and beautifully using cost efficient materials.
