In her own words
I’m an East Coast girl on the West Coast, currently doing mobile interaction design in Silicon Valley. I’ve done a variety of design work, but am pretty certain my heart is in designing products and services that people can use every day. Loves: icons, comics, animation, installation art, collaging. I’m on the hunt for that which is novel yet familiar…the elusive perfect tension.
Words of advice
Presentation and confidence can be just as impactful as the quality of your work. So in addition to doing quality work, know your design and its rationale inside and out. Confidence usually comes with this. Presentation comes with preparation (and practice). Lastly, be able to recognize the flaws that you do miss in your work. In the end, quality is what matters most.
