Learn to not panic.

I am a recent graduate from the awesome Graphic Design Communications program at Philadelphia University. I have been freelancing a little bit since my graduation in May, but right now most of my time is spent looking for career opportunities. As far as my work goes, I love to experiment with new and different ways of producing images. I love using texture, light and transparency to achieve different effects in my work. I am also a big fan of humor and wordplay.

I wish I could share more wisdom, but right now I’m pretty new to the game. The only thing I’m really experienced in at the moment is job interviews. For those I’d say, don’t lie. If you have to lie, the company probably isn’t the right fit for you. While you’re there, let every one know how appreciative you are for their time. Most importantly, learn to not panic. I’ve realized that someone will always grab your portfolio and want to look through it themselves. There will always be a cup of coffee ready to spill at any moment onto your portfolio. No matter how much this worries you, you can’t show it.

A board game based on the works of Alfred Hitchcock. The game represents the techniques he used in his films.

A re-illustration of the book "Little Miss Shy" by Roger Hargreaves. I developed the style to represent the nervous energy of being shy.

An illustration for the identity system for a fictional comic book store called "Comikaze."
