Words of advice
Community is key; be friendly, be sincere.
Be prepared to be your own advocate; no one knows your strengths better than you.
Know what you are worth and don’t feel bad asking for it.
Most importantly, make work that is not for your job; almost all of my exciting or proud creative moments originated from personal projects.
